Sabrina sprinted up to the lab. She had ran all the way from Jubilife city just to get there. Today was the day. She adjusted her red hat. She walked in, but the famous Prof.Rowan was not there. She made a quick decision in her head and decided to sit on the bench outside the lab.

Jake was sitting on a bench outside prof. Rowans lab, he'd been waiting for him to arrive when another girl sat down next to him. ''Hey, What are you doing here?'' He asked.

'' I'm supposed to be starting my journey today. You? ''

''Yeah, me too. But Rowan isn't here. Should we look for him?'' Jake introduced himself and stood up, waiting for the girls response. ''Maybe his assistant knows where he went?''

'' Probably. Wait, maybe that old dude knows. '' She pointed out after introducing herself, Pointing to a old guy in a lab coat.

( She has never seen Rowan before XD )

''no haha, that's him. Hello professor, I'v been waiting for you.'' Said Jake, obviously in a rush.
''oh. Sorry, I got caught up in my research. Please come inside.'' Said Rowan whilst leading them into a large lab. And over to a room full of shiny red pokeballs. ''Ok, take your pick.''

Sabrina blushed after being so embarresed. She followed the Proffeser inside, and picked up the pokeball on the right. A red fire monkey came out of the Pokeball.

''Ok.'' And Jake wondered from row to row, considering his choice wisely. ''right, this one.'' Jake grabbed the pokeball and threw it in the air, in a bright red light came a little blue snake thing.
''Wow!'' Said Prof. Rowan, ''You picked the only dratini in all of sinoh, nice choice!''
''Thanks, this outa be fun.'' And Jake walked out of the lab leaving the Prof. and the girl inside.

Sabrina walked out after the boy with the monkey pokemon which the Prof had identified as a Chimchar. She had a red thing in her hand. '' Hey Jake, wait up! ''She said, walking up beside him. '' Professer Rowan said he only had 1 Pokedex, which means until more come we have to share it. ''

''What? uh, well fine.'' Jake replied, not exactly sure what too say. ''But i'm going to go the the lake right now to test out Dratini, so come along if you want?'' And Jake starting walking quickly towards Lake verity. It was quite a long way, but he knew that there was allot of strong pokemon their, and it was the best place to test out his new partner.

From the road ahead another trainer appeared as he walked past the two, he murmured, "Be right back!" The trainer went into the lab and after about 5 minutes came back out with a hopping charmander on his side.

'' Ok! '' She said, following after him. She couldn't wait to test out Chimchar!
